Dear all,
My first few posts so do bear with me if I am less than clear.
Restoring a 2000 M900ie now. The bike was upgraded with Showa forks that are fully adjustable; the problem that I have is that I want to install clip-ons to replace a damaged pair, and I cannot ascertain the size of the forks. My measurements tell me that the fork tubes where the triple mounts are 48mm diameter but this seems to be an odd size; clip-ons seem to sell at 50mm and 53mm.
Am I measuring them wrong?
Here's a pic of the previous clip-ons .. what are these?

Thanks, and Cheers
They are 50mm and they (the forks) are stock (only the Dark had the non adjustable)
Those are MotoWheels' clip-ons. You could just get new handles to replace the bent/damaged ones. They're only $25 per bar. Look HERE (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=1204%7CMonster&productID=7320&showDetail=1&categoryID=45%7CMonster%20Billet&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts)
Thanks for the feedback. Hmmm, I really thought that my calipers show 48mm. Would it help if I show a pic of the entire fork after I dismantle the front end?
Anyway, planning to mod the triple yoke, so I am in the market for a stock triple yoke if anyone is letting go of theirs after an upgrade. Educating myself on clip-ons now too.
Merry Christmas ..... [drink]
Cheers
Those are definately the 50mm forks. If you're looking for a clip on with some rise I seem to recall seeing some Cyclecat 50mm available in our classified section.
If they are not still available there always seems to be someone here selling a set. Try doing a search. [thumbsup]
Here is a set of LSL's:
