Ducati monster t-shirts for my nephews (7yr and 3 yrs) and niece ( 5 yr) . Recruiting for the future.
and you ?
love and hugs for my homies
I made a donation to the Denver Rescue Mission in lieu of gifts this year.
Too much to list, mostly to the kids...
My parents have gotten the same thing from me since I was in college.
I pick 2 names off the local Salvo's giving tree and the parents each get a card with a kid's details and a receipt for what I got him/her.
If I can, I try to find siblings and get them similar toys.
Less than last year, at least last year I gave a f**k. :)
I am too broke to be cheap.
This is the first year I've given gifts that cost much more than "make the beast with two backsall."
Built new computers for both my parents, as there's were old and slow.
A farm, some books and some other stuff that I don't remember.
my presence and well wishes.
More than ever and I'm not even working. [roll]
Nothing. Well, hopefully a phone call if the system isn't all clogged up tomorrow. If so, an email.
This year, I gave the parentals some premium hooch of an oenological persuasion.
gave the wife an indoor trainer for her bike
...and supermario bros for the wii....yeah....that was for her [thumbsup]

Otherwise, we sent out cards.

Let me rephrase my response to this thread.
Christmas make the beast with two backsing sucks this year!
1. I'm make the beast with two backsing broke and can't go home for Christmas, or buy anything for anyone.
2. The headlines are putting me in a worse mood.
There, no politics.

Didn't realize Michael Buble' was so political.
Sister got an espresso machine
Mom got tupperware (It's what she wanted. Who am I to say no.)
Dad got nuts (Cashews and macadamias, thank you!)
Wife got a new pair of tires, an orchid, and a weeks vacation in Florida with her favorite(only) husband, redeemable in February.

people were feeding off Cyrus' post but have removed/edited.
I had fun with the attorneys in the office this year. They got cash bonuses, but that's an office thing, not personal, so I also emailed all their significant others for ideas and got them individual fun things...one got a glass blowing class...one got a wii...one got cooking classes...(I think they all liked the $ more, but it's fun to do something small that they want)
Contributed a heap to finding a blood cancer cure, two new legs for the dawg, another life for the cat (close to her 9th), and a new rear differential for the Jeep. Family comes later in January. Hopefully '10 will be a little more profitable but on the other hand, '09 didn't kill me either.
Merry Christmas everyone!
[thumbsup]
Xmas to myself

Painted and crafted by me.
It's not mispelled, it is intentional as it's my last name.
Now where's that dog?
A 1972 (I think) Alfa Romeo rear bumper, made into a pot rack for our kitchen.

Wow......does your firm need an IT guy? My company just sent us an E-mail that basically says how lucky we should feel to have jobs.
My wife places IT guys. Send me a pm if youre looking for a gig.
Got wifey a Pioneer Elite CS-7. Should cover me for Christmas, her bday and anniversary! They all occur within 6 weeks. My yearly hemorrage!
I gave the dogs a bath. [cheeky]

if you want to keep in that holiday spirit, I'll mail you mine and you can give them a bath too! [cheeky]
gifts were all handmade this year thanks to finances. cheap bastards maybe but hardworking ones!
many of you *know* first hand what we gave! and hope you enjoyed!
the most fun gifts were the copper fountain Matador and I made for my mom and the model rocket I gave my sister (we already launched it a few times) but most fun was designing the Matador Moto logo I gave El Matador ... and finding the rare breed Tumi Ducati Messenger Bag that came with it!
Big gift to my wife was a heated throw blanket. I'm a bit of a polar bear, so she gets cold. This keeps her nice and toasty when the wood stove can't keep up with the cold around these mountains.
JM
I gave my mom a Snuggie. ;D
My wife ratted me out before x-mas, and my mom gave me one in return. [laugh]
The damn thing is surprisingly warm though. ;)

Leopard print. Mine looks like I'm a giant glass of beer. [drink]
Gave the gf a wii and a snuggie. smaller stuff for everyone else games, dvds, cds etc.
The wife got and iPhone and one of these (http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/mobile/bluetooth-headsets/voyager-pro) to go with it. It's a great headset, I got one too. I experimented today in my truck, and my friend could not hear the wind noise with my window all the way down at 65 MPH.
The extended family did a t-shirt exchange this year, having given up on figuring out what all of us -who really pretty much have all the appliances, gadgets, or general shit we need or want- need or want. It was fun. The one I got for my dad said:
Haikus are fun
But sometimes they don't make sense
Refrigerator
Got a biclcye trainer set up for the wife.
New tires for my buddy's truck.
Still in process of buying my mother a mercedes convertible.
