(http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1901.jpg) Small Bracket made. (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1902.jpg) Painted in a Special Super Stealth Primer. (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1900.jpg) Then finished with Super Stealth Black. (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1908.jpg) Then mounted the camera. (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1911.jpg) (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1912.jpg) For safety i will be using my trusty friends the Zip ties! (http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo127/monstar_100/Contour%20HD%20Homemade%20Bike%20Mount/IMG_1915.jpg) A Video will be added once the weather clears up, from what i can see so far with the test videos is that it is super Crisp! Only Negative- Recorded clips are in .MOV Format... For those who don't know, Windows does not recognize that format unless converted... Title: Re: Marty Gets Technical... Title: Re: Marty Gets Technical... [laugh] (Contour HD Helmet Camera. Vhold) Post by: techno on December 27, 2009, 09:16:18 PM I've previously mounted my video camera on the trelis frame using a U bolt with plastic tubing to protect the frame. It vibrates a bit so video isn't the best. I'm still working on that.
Any ideas on how to protect the lens? I don't want to get bugs all over it like my headlight. Can you buy filters for video cameras like you can with SLR lenses? Title: Re: Marty Gets Technical... i seem to remember reading somewhere about mounting the camera to the frame, i really wanted to find another spot to avoid the vibration... but then this may not be the best spot either... |
