For all of us cold climate northern folk, I really believe that we appreciate every minute on our Ducs just a bit more than the tropical climate folk. It's a limited riding season and you know it, here in WI we're only truly good for riding between May- Oct. and in MKE with the lake, you never know. Anyway, I've been drinking gin & tonics and watching football since 1pm CST [puke], I'll leave it at that.
^ I agree. I think maybe I'll post some pics of thermometers when it's a perfect 80-85 here and they are sweating their balls off.

Fair enough 1KDS! I'll probably park it in August and September when it's 110 outside. Even worse, the GARAGE is too hot to work in!! Yeah, but it's a DRY heat [roll]

Perfect 80-85? :'( Sorry brother. 70 degree average around here. You just can't win the weather game against us. :)
wiki: Huntington Beach has a Mediterranean climate (Köppen climate classification Csb). The climate is generally sunny, dry and cool, although evenings can be excessively damp. In the morning and evening, there are often strong breezes, 15 mph (24 km/h). Ocean water temperatures average 55 °F (13 °C) to 65 °F (18 °C). In the summer, temperatures rarely exceed 85 °F (29 °C). In the winter, temperatures rarely fall below 40 °F (4 °C), even on clear nights.[3] There are about 14 inches (360 mm) of rain, almost all in mid-winter.
Shhh. Keep it quiet, man. We don't want everyone moving here.
Instead you should stress that we have four seasons here on the wrong coast: Landslide, Earthquake, Fire and Bankruptcy.

doesn't matter, there aren't any jobs to take so no one will move here.
But yeah, something about 300'ish non-rainy days/year is very appealing. And hey, when it hits 100, I just put on the mesh and stay near the coast. problem solved.

I guess not, I'm just trying to make myself feel better about living here... Cost of living maybe? yeah I'll go with cost of living.

Unbelievable weather we're having now, I agree. 70 - 75 degrees is perfect riding weather in my book. Wish it stayed like this though. I absolutely HATE the long, hot, dry summers in L.A., which now seem to be starting in April and lasting till November (thanks Al Gore, I'm pretty sure he invented global warming just like he invented the internet.) Too freakin' hot here most of the time - yes, it's good for riding, but damn, it's nice to see some GREEN now and again....

I know! 48 in the morning! Wtf?
Yeah, that was in Moorpark. By the time we got to the Rock Store around 8:30 it was down to 38!!! WTF?! Warmed up nicely, though... ;D
