So.....one of my coworkers apparently managed to do something to annoy someone whilst driving into work.
Annoy them to the point that they followed him here, on a weekend.
Now, the interesting thng is the gates in and out of the secure parking lots work with a badge. So...this idiot followed my coworker into the secure parking lot.....somehow got separated, and the coworker then exited the parking lot, and parked in a different secure lot.
There is now some moron trapped in the parking lot.
Maybe in a few hours I'll call security [popcorn]
Odd that you have to have an access card to exit isn't it?

Shrugs-normal for around here, and I've only worked one place with some many government regulations.
There isn't really any sneaking out of work early.
I didn't think about the fact that they could record your entrance and exit times.
Please let us know how that turns out. [popcorn]
I'd love to hear the guys explanation to the cops. No seriously, I was just here to let some guy know how bad of a driver he is...
Hrm-I should probably do something. He's still trapped.
Although if he jumps the fence we could have his car towed while he's gone.

I've been in some data centers that were like that. Only way out without a badge was to pull the fire alarm.

Wouldn't security likely detain him and hand him over to the cops for trespassing? That would be funny.
I called security.
They didn't mention what they'd do but we'll see.
This is yet another reason, why it's always better to just let it go people.
Is the co-worker hiding in a closet?

He's a couple cubes down, sans a window.
Building isn't accessible really without something that would knock down doors.
[popcorn]
[popcorn] let us know!!!!!
well?
More tomorrow. :-*
Whoops-I was channeling Piller there.
Security is apparently taking their time explaining to him how bad it is for some numbnut to be on this property. Looks like they'll let him go though-no sign of police.

This is probably the best quote I have ever quoted.
You just never know what the other person is capable of....
Better to just walk away
They should at least make the guy pay an exit toll... say fifty bucks for his freedom. [laugh]

He had an extended stay in a previously unknown prison-I feel he's suffered enough.

What the hell is a "previously unknown prison"?

He didn't know my parking lot was something you can't get out of. [evil]
At least your security doesn't sport MP-5s or heavier. With all the govie stuff around DC a bad decision like this might land dude in a holding cell for a little.
