Wow, that guy getting arrested for murder halfway through parting out his car was surreal. Just imagine if that happened on this board.  :o

My wife work(ed) (new job in a few days) for a top 10 bank in corporate security (essentially the ADT of their bank)

The robberies they got hit on and how they caught the suspect are make the beast with two backsing classic.

Unfortunately, I can't post any of them :(

lol, hustler, maybe you should rethink messing with noobs so much?

Houston is overrepresented in this list...  we are a city of car and people killers  :-\

A couple observations to offer, having read some of these threads wasted enomous amounts of time reading these threads:
1.  The quality of the responses is reflects the quality of the normal readership - good people = shit actually getting done, despite the urge to wallow in schadenfreude.  Less good people = EPIC FAIL OMG LOWELL!!!1111 over and over and over again.
2.  We are either highly adept at not destroying our bikes, or are good people.  Probably both.

Wishing everyone an epic failure-free 2010  [thumbsup]

don't you have to be attempting to do something and make a massive mistake for it to be an epic fail?

he has nothign to do with it.

now if he built his powdercoating oven and rigged a 110v heating colg to run on 220v and burnt down his house then that would be an epic fail.

I couldn't either. Towards the end it comes out that he may be an auto tech but then we find out he's a tech assistant for some place.

Did you watch the part of the video where it said the bike lost by over 3 seconds?

it was versus a GT-R, yes? and as usual, they'll pick a top-shelf car with all the factory bells and whistles, but not choose to test the 999S or 999R (in the top gear shootout), or the 1098S / 1098R / 1198S or new Corse edition bikes. I always find that a bit annoying.

The closing scene where the 1098S passes the GTR is amazing.

not to mention... a damp track and the gtr has arguably one of the best AWD systems in the world.

How much did the Ducati cost, and how much did the GT-R cost?

Btw, saw a GT-R on my way home from work a few nights ago-absolutely STUNNING.

Saw one around here recently too. Very cool. Want to see the interior though, haven't been a fan of nissan interiors before.
