Title: Location of screws on carbed ducatis

i have a 01 monster dark and im trying to adjust my air fuel mixture and possible my hot idle. ive looked and looked for a clear answer on where those are located but i can seem to locate them  (pilot screws). the bike studders or bogs past 5-6k on hier gears and on hard shifting .  would anyone be able to help me out?? thank you.

You`ll need 20 cm or so screwdriver f idle speed adj.

The idle mixture screws only help at low engine speeds and small throttle openings.  Adjusting them won't do anything at all for you above 5000 rpms.

You either want to change the main jet size or adjust the metering needles up or down.

An easy way to find out if it's too rich or too lean is to use some duct tape to block off part of the intake.  If it gets better, it's too lean.  If it get's worse, it's too rich.

Look /inside/ the carb.  :)

The main jets, pilot jets, needles, float bowl adjustment... all need you to open up the carbs.
