Title: Suspension help please? Post by: CCEMN1 on January 13, 2010, 12:53:48 PM I just purchased a 2007 S4RS. I've been searching on here & reading "Suspension 101" for the past hour!
I'm 5' 11" and weigh 220 Lb, geared up. Can anyone give me a good baseline suspension setting for my Ohlins suspension, in plain English, ie. number of clicks, Etc.? It's so damn cold, I haven't even gotten to ride the bike yet, but I'd just like to get it set up to a good starting point for my weight, for spirited riding, for when I can get out on it. Thanks! I can e-mail it to you if you don't find it. PM me.

Instead of just wasting your time doing clicks, you should understand it so u can set your own baseline to work with. http://www.onthethrottle.com/content/category/5/24/40/ (http://www.onthethrottle.com/content/category/5/24/40/) theres a bunch of video there about seetting rebound sag dampening etc. i found it very helpful and i spent an hour taking notes and watching it. went to my bike and record what was on there already, and played around with it. |
