Title: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: wcw on January 19, 2010, 06:18:48 AM good price to ask for would be? 4400 miles, blk/silver, full Termi setup, cf heel guards, open clutch cover w/speedymoto springs etc. Bike doesn't have a scratch and has never been dropped. Considering selling it, thank you for your input!

Title: Re: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: wcw on January 19, 2010, 06:29:54 AM Yep, but like a '01 BMW Mcoupe I bought in '03, the 'market' for these bikes and therefore value's different for people specifically looking for them vs. the standard 'market' research done by KBB etc. imo Iotw, yes, i know what KBB etc says, but I'm asking here for reason stated above. :) iotw, i dont want to hose myself like the guy did who sold me his Mcoupe...

Title: Re: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: WhiteStripe on January 19, 2010, 09:50:44 AM Personally, (coming from a 2006 S2R 1000, full Arrows, open cf cluctch, not a scratch, 3,200 miles) i would say a fair price is about $17,500...
Title: Re: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: Goat_Herder on January 19, 2010, 10:00:32 AM I've been tracking several S2R1000's on ebay in the past several months. Used stock ones by dealers have been struggling to sell over $6000. Most of the time, the reserve wasn't met so they get derbyed over and over. Unfortunately, bikes are only worth as much as people are willing to pay.
I just picked up my 07 S2R1000, 4800 miles, stock with tail chop for $5600. Hope this helps and good luck, if you decide to sell. Title: Re: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: He Man on January 19, 2010, 10:11:16 AM I think 6grand is the base point to work with. no mods, a little under. with mods a little over. depending on.
Im hoping to get 6500-7000 for my bike with mods (insurance claim) Personally, (coming from a 2006 S2R 1000, full Arrows, open cf cluctch, not a scratch, 3,200 miles) i would say a fair price is about $17,500... Not USD right? Title: Re: 07 S2R1000, what's consensus here on what a Post by: wcw on January 19, 2010, 12:23:11 PM thank ya'll mucho for the input! I concur that the low 7'ish (obo) range is a good place to start. If ya'll know anyone interested point em my way!

KBB and NADA may be higher than what's realistic. It's a buyer market right now. I finally jumped on a Duck last summer because the bike wouldn't meet it's reserve on Ebay. At $1500 under book. I'm guessing he's not had much luck. It is really not a sellers market right now.
