Title: ?Rizoma grips Post by: 900CHRIS on January 22, 2010, 01:53:24 PM I just bought a 2000 900ie Monster with "Rizoma" grips. I've never heard of them. Has anyone used these grips before? Did you like them?
We're knee deep in snow here so I can't find out for myself just yet....... Thanks! Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: NoisyDante on January 22, 2010, 02:04:46 PM Rizoma parts are pretty commonly used, especially the grips and reservoirs. Nice stuff, looks great, usually pricey.
I've had the sportline grips on for about 4 months, and I've decided that while they look nice, they're not comfortable for me. Put the stock grips back on last weekend when I converted to clipons. http://www.rizoma.com/Prodotti/ProdottiUniversal.cfm?ID_categoria=6&IDSez=1 (http://www.rizoma.com/Prodotti/ProdottiUniversal.cfm?ID_categoria=6&IDSez=1) Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: scduc on January 22, 2010, 02:58:11 PM Hit their web site. it's almost like porn without the guilt

Had them on two bikes but I too just changed back to regular grips when I went to clip-ons too. Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: Raux on January 22, 2010, 11:10:03 PM anyone used the driven grips?
I need new one's soon and not sure i want to get stock or aftermarket. Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: JEFF_H on January 23, 2010, 05:38:17 PM anyone used the driven grips? I need new one's soon and not sure i want to get stock or aftermarket. <raises hand> look similar to rizoma sportline easier to install as you dont have to mess with throttle stuff the metal part hits right where you grip between thumb/first finger can be slippery when wet rubber is soft and wears out quickly Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on January 26, 2010, 02:18:11 AM anyone used the driven grips? I need new one's soon and not sure i want to get stock or aftermarket. have them. hate them. Theyre like 8-15$ cheaper than the rizomas they copy but dont come with a throttle tube. I had to heavily trim my stock one for them to fit and they still dont fit right. Im just waiting for a reason to swap em out now. Title: Re: ?Rizoma grips Post by: Novelo on January 27, 2010, 07:00:53 PM Agreed with the others long story short the Rizo's suck been out a few times with mine thoroughly disappointed. Throttle mechanism messed up cause its made from cheap plastic slides past the stop. You would think a company with a good design & quality such as Rizoma would turn out something better but all the grips are the same design inside. Was hoping the plastic was retard strong because the throttle grip is shorter than the other for no apparent reason but no avail. :-[
