Post by: TJR178 on January 26, 2010, 08:09:53 AM
Who's going?

I'll be there Saturday.  Monsterlover will be there that day too.

If you're going, post up and lets meet!

I've been planning on going, but I don't know the particulars. I hope the weather is better than last year. I wished I had my ice skates for the parking lot.

Thanks but I won't be able to make it Friday night.  Saturday night though, we'll be hittin' up W. 6th downtown.

Weather is supposed to be cold and partly sunny redxblack.

I don't live too far from Cleveland (20 minutes away on I-77), so if I have downtime next weekend I'll swing over. I always get a kick out of some of the motorcycle club jackets people wear at those events.

I bounced up for a couple hours. I wore my DMF shirt, but didn't see many people I knew (just the guys from Crooked River -- now Northern Ohio Ducati). The show was alright I suppose. I want a sport classic now more than ever, but didn't see any of BMWs offerings for the year.

Back home from the show.

Had a good time, show was small.

Got together with Diva and Mr Diva for breakfast.

Went bowling at an alley with only paper scoring :o

Fun weekend :D

It was nice see you again and meeting the Mrs.  [thumbsup]

I had fun at the show.  My expectations were not that high, so I wasn't disapointed.

We had a great time at the show shooting the shit with Lee Parks at his booth.  Showed us some picts of his new house.  He built a dirt bike track in the front yard.   [evil]

The new Multi is "better" in person.  Still too tall for me though.

The new VFR is not as piggish as it looks on paper and I can actually flat foot it.

No BMWs to drool on.   :-\

Awesome beer and dinner at Great Lakes Brewery, as always.   [beer]

I have to say, I dig that Multi.

It has the best motorcycle seat i've ever sat on, stock or aftermarket.

My friends from Cleveland thought you guys were "super cool" (their words)

Feeling is mutual.

We will all have to get to a track day together.   [evil]  [moto]

I don't expect to ever see Dave or Jac on the track again.  Street yes, track is very doubtful.

Me on the other hand. . .

Im there!!!

On a side note, I should mention that you and Brian remind me a lot of Dave and Jac and vise-versa.

I wasn't too impressed with the show.  Man, was it small.  I did fall for the Multi however.  Sure looked and felt good.

Sorry I didn't meet up with you guys.  We got in at 11 and basically started walking through and left at 2 right after the 1:30 stunt show (meh) and then hit the road.

We were at the 130 stunt show as well and left at the same time.

I did like the part at the end where he jumped off the front of the bike as it came to rest on the side stand.

I can't do that.

;D

That was pretty bad ass I must say.  I loved hearing all the non-Duc owners standing around me saying that they loved the sound of that thing  [thumbsup]

I like how they had to spray the concrete floor with pancake syrup to generate a little traction :)

Yeah, that was interesting.  It seemed to have lowered the "smokeability" of the rear tire when he did burn outs though.

Agreed.

I was dissapointed in the smoke qty

:)
