How much finishing work are we talking here?  Any consideration for road-grime fouling the seat lock?

You'll have to build a mount for the exhaust cans somehow and add a standard tail chop kit but after that, all parts will be included with the minor exception of maybe a few nuts/bolts/washers.

No consideration on the seat lock other than the stock sliding plate that normally keeps road-grime out.

My concern is that the mechanism is directly in line with the wheel in that setup, so the road-grime would be hitting it directly.  The sliding cover does a good job of indirect fouling, but I would be concerned about it's ability to block direct

I don't think its much of a problem if you leave the rear hugger on and invest in a product like WD-40.

That's my bike that's pictured with the lock underneath.  I don't have a problem with road grime on the mechanism.  I ride in the rain and the muck, though not daily.  I also have my rear hugger.

SSS bikes dont come with rear huggers stock. and WD-40 sucks. Also, i removed my lock cause people kept sticking shit into it.

its mostly fish oil. i usually use gun lube to unstick locks, and i removed my lock when i did a tail chop, so i'm "kinda" in the same boat as you. Except that I don't live near a bunch of assholes (apparently, or they are good at hiding it).

WD-40 is made of fish oil? i thought it was everything that the petroleum industry couldnt use in a bottle.

Trust me on this one:  Spidey doesn't believe in cleaning products.   ;)  It's been 2 1/2 years that he's had that setup on his M1000 and so far, I don't think he's had a SINGLE issue with grime in the seat lock key cylinder.

Nope...it's all petroleum products.
