Yeah, that may hurt their "most reliable" statement, but I'm impressed by the way they are handling it. Stopping production and the sale of vehicles that may be affected is a bold move.

They are required by law to stop selling cars that are under recall.

2 billion profit for Ford just announce when wall street was expecting a loss.  I have always been a Chevy guy, but it is getting harder to not like Ford when they can stand on their own and come out with some very innovative and competitive cars.

i think the latter has a lot to do with the former... at least one of the big three appears to be "getting it" with regards to their offerings.

I gotta agree, I spent the last month rolling around in a 2010 Ford Fusion. I must say I was impressed with everything about the car. I logged about 6k miles, good mileage, little road noise, and best yet it was kinda fun to drive for what it is. [thumbsup]
