It's been on CL a few times but the price has stayed the same.  Wondering if anyone here knows anything about the bike or owner and why it's not selling.  Debating going to take a look:

He's using KBB for value.  Use NADA, it's what lenders use.  KBB values are unrealistic.

Dunno anything about the bike, but he's also using KBB retail value (the value dealers use to sell) rather than private party value.  And he's factoring in the costs of his mods.  Also, I dunno how old the bike is (his ad doesn't say), but I bet its close on two years now for the belts.  Oh yeah . . . and the economy sucks balls so no one has cash on hand and it's winter, when no one buys motorcycles.  

That said, if he keeps putting it up for the same price without recognizing there's a reason it didn't sell last time, he's probably one of those sellers who thinks its worth more than it is and can't be talked out of it.  <shrug>

I don't think that bike has enough sliders...

I know that he sold the bags. And I know that you should get a black or silver one.

But I really like the red....  I told him what I'd be willing to pay and didn't hear anything back.  Probably for the best as I'm out of room in the garage anyway. 

Looks kind of off orange/red to me. You should go have a look at it. If you can get the guy to respond. Maybe you can pick up some crack in the lower Haight while your there.  :P
