This is old but I came across this again. It's a prototype Honda with lots of bling. Could have been the new Super Hawk and I wish it was. The engine is the 4 valve 996 VTR1000 engine used in the aforementioned bike,

An oldie but a goodie. That swing arm is sweet.
This is the kind of stuff they should be building

..over a dry clutch, yup.
It's cool, innovative, and evocative. Everything Honda seems to be avoiding at the moment. :-\
Very cool! [thumbsup]

see, i thought that given the people I see riding most Hondas.. just a big old bass.
Not a big fan of the single sided front fork. It looks good in the back though.

well it
is a concept bike.
fwiw, their rc45s were raced with dry clutches, but the homologated (production) model was wet.
Honda big mistake was making the Ducati Supersport/superbike knockoff in the first place, and then not updating it with any of this cool stuff. Seems like a lot of Superhawk owners became Ducati owners. I wish i would have kept mine for a track bike though.

i wonder what they have against using a dry clutch for the street bike?

Yes we did.
That bike is really good looking. I would love to own one.
Me too.
Id ride that thing all over the place
Love that bike, it's a shame Honda doesn't build stuff like this.
Oh, wait, I was forgetting the "groundbreaking" DN-01... [puke]

Shhhh! You'll give Honda more ideas!
