I wanna ask you what is a MAP Sensor on my Monster 696 and what is the purpose of this sensor? I have studied the wiring diagram attached to the user´s manual but I cannot imagine what is this. Post by: jc2ducati on February 02, 2010, 11:53:09 AM i have no clue about bikes specifically, but i have seen MAP refer to Manifold Pressure on other engines. sometimes a port to an intake manifold on a cylinder.
