Is that the "GP Red" panel kit?

I've never noticed how good that low seat looks before.

Rizoma doesnt make a crankshaft cover, do you mean these Rizoma camshaft covers? >>

Rizoma's timing belt covers for M696 I like, had 'em fitted to mine. Pics here if you're interested >> http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=25025.msg469254#msg469254 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=25025.msg469254#msg469254)
yea meant Rizoma camshaft covers
to install the camshaft covers do you have to disconnect anything ,
or just unscrew and screw the new one?
also thanks for the pics of the rizoma's timing belt ,
still not 100% on them or the carbon fiber dp ones
so this might be a mod i will do in the end
that red with the black trellis looks really nice. I was always on the fence about about the red 696, but with red plastics and black trellis it makes the world of difference to this guy with the thumbs up [thumbsup]
Nice Work ducat.
I think the Carbon Fiber Termis will really complete the look improve the sound and performance (along with your CF Heat Shields).
I see you have the Rizoma Rearsets. I am looking to add those to my bike as well. How difficult was the installation and how do you like them over stock?
thanks
''I think the Carbon Fiber Termis will really complete the look improve the sound and performance (along with your CF Heat Shields).''
I Agree,
''I see you have the Rizoma Rearsets. I am looking to add those to my bike as well. How difficult was the installation and how do you like them over stock?''
the dealer installed them for me ,
I love them , they do feel higher then the stock because of the position they came set with , but you can lower them , the low seat and the rizoma rearsets are a match made in haven.
SWEET! Wish I could afford a new one myself!
I love all the details on that bike. lightening holes even on the shift lever.
Is that a plastic tank, like on the older 695?
Quote from: jfgducat on February 03, 2010, 04:47:14 AM....to install the camshaft covers do you have to disconnect anything , or just unscrew and screw the new one?
Well, since Rizoma is too cheap to supply new O-rings with the new cover you need to swap the OE O-ring over, but other than that its just unbolt the stockers and bolt on the Rizomas, simple [thumbsup]
very nice and clean [thumbsup]

Off topic...You asked me on another thread several days ago about the height difference from stock with the Rizoma mirror mounts that I have on my M1100S. I finally measured that the Rizoma mounts are 4-5 mm higher than stock.

always loved the pearl white ,I believe its the most photogenic of the three.

I love the Rizoma rearsets
Yeah, I'm sold on the Rizoma's too. In fact, I'm going to pick up a set in a few weeks.

Yup, they do.
provisions?
Rizoma rear sets provide a proper setup for locating a functioning rear brake light switch, some other rear sets do not.

race bikes don't need em
whos making a 696 race bike? and why not, dont you need to be able to tell whos stopping if your in a swarm of bikes?
I saw that you want a 180 rear tire. I would not recomend that for a few reasons. The rim that you have is too small and would pinch the tire. This will cause wear and handling problems. Also the 180 will slow the turning down. Your bike will not be as nimble. good luck with the rest of the mods.
has anyone purchased carbon fiber parts from monster parts?
looking into upgrading my carbon pieces and adding timing belt, rear fender

Race bikes = no lights, unless they're 24 hour style endurance racers, then it's usually for when the outside lights go off (or the sun goes down)
There's no mechanical switch, but you replace it with a pressure switch banjo, and there's no problem at all.

1. loosen up all the bolts on your slipons band remove the last set of springs
2. move your mounting point on the termis to the one that moves them up .5 inch.
3. stand back and love how much the exhaust follows the lines of the tail 100x better. :)

Xcentric performance is apparently going to be making a carbon belly pan sometime at the end of the summer. I just had the non carbon one put on my bike and love it. By far the best looking belly pan i've seen IMHO. Talk to Javuchi696 on this forum, he can give you more details. Guys there were fantastic to deal with as well. [thumbsup]
