Title: Painter needed for tank and fender. Post by: ICON on February 04, 2010, 07:26:37 AM Hello, anyone here know of someone who knows what they are doing with a paint gun on tins? I have a chopper project in progress and need my tank and fender painted. I'm not looking for tons of shades or gold flake, just gloss black and very little pinstripes. Trying to keep the $$$ to a minimum.
If you know of anyone or a shop please let me know. I live in Whittier, between L.A. and Anaheim. Title: Re: Painter needed for tank and fender. Post by: gm2 on February 04, 2010, 07:32:59 AM pm trouble... assuming he's still painting

Title: Re: Painter needed for tank and fender. Post by: madmatt on February 05, 2010, 11:39:57 AM There's a guy that pained my racebike in Santa Monica. He repaired a dent in the tank, painted the tank and fairings gloss black. No frills. Didn't do much sanding. I think it was $400-$500 bucks. He's cheap and decent, but don't expect to be wowed. You get what you pay for.

;D I could recommend many painters, if you want nice work look up Buck Wild in Covina, he's a close friend of mine and his work is killer. I'll beat him up on the price for ya if ya like. [thumbsup] [beer] Once I'm done with my build I'm having a BBQ at my house. I hope you all can make it. [drink]
The frame is now black and I'm at the wiring stage at the moment. But this can give you a good idea of what she will look like when finished.
