Potrero hill and union Square were stinky with motorcycle cops writing tickets.
280 S of the city, I just saw 5 cops (both directions.) I blew past on, saw him jump in his car and then nabbed a car behind me. Feeeeeww.
They have been going bonkers here too. I see two or three people pulled over every time I drive down the main street by my house. Funny thing is though, do 5 over in a cage = ticket (my wife can verify this LOL). I blew past one the other day at 15 over on the bike and he just waved. [leo]
5 over? Actually I got busted at 9 over during a similar quota period, so that doesn't surprise me too much.
I suspect there'll be more than a few DUI checkpoints out this evening...
