well maybe used. I have heard there is zero margin from the factory and it is unlikely they would be discounted. Title: Re: Ducati Monster Color Therapy Bodywork ... Where can I find a good deal on a set? Post by: dtsduc on February 19, 2010, 01:28:23 PM I called around and some dealers wanted $800+!!! Commoto from #1 post has the best deal and seemed most knowledgeable & friendly so I just ordered a set from them.

No margin on an $800 piece of plastic with some paint? Title: Re: Ducati Monster Color Therapy Bodywork ... Where can I find a good deal on a set? Post by: dtsduc on February 24, 2010, 12:00:46 PM Yeah, that's lame! Why would Ducati even want to make them and create a separate website (with some kind of marketing campaign) if there is no margin on them?! You bet there's margin...a FAT one no doubt.

maybe it will work The dealer I trust told me their cost and retail and there isnt margin for a discount without taking a loss. Title: Re: Ducati Monster Color Therapy Bodywork ... Where can I find a good deal on a set? Post by: dtsduc on February 24, 2010, 01:21:06 PM All 3 of my local dealers were firm on their prices. Yes, prices. Some of them added $100 on top of the MSRP! I ended up getting it out of state WITH A DISCOUNT without even asking for it so in the end I got a much better deal going with a dealer I had NO prior dealing with. The bodywork was promptly shipped and is on its way to me via UPS. Personally, I wouldn't trust a (st)ealer when it tells you there's no margin even if I am related to its boss!
