There is a fair bit of this that occurs across all the major online sales sites. Ebay, Trading Post, Bikesales, whatever, they all suffer. Some of it is covered at www.scamwatch.com.au (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveat_emptor), but most of this sort of stuff is caveat emptor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveat_emptor). Note it's not just buying stuff, it's also selling stuff to f**kers pretending to be overseas or oceanographers* and such. If I am spending more than $100 and I can't either talk to them face to face or ring them directly I am always sus. * god damn try spelling that drunk with no speel cheekers ;) Title: Re: Dodgy Sale....
