that's too bad

wow I wonder how the valves are on that thing [laugh]
Built by a Thai mechanic who earns $150 a month , parts scrounged from anywhere ,but built with passion for the biker life the bike probably cost him 4 years wages and is a massive commitment
Seen at the Burapha show yesterday in Pattaya , over 10,000 bikes at the show , saw about 10 ducatis.

I love it.
Is that a muffler or a rain catcher?
Perfect for the California Motorcycle Riding test.......
But, taken in context, a nice effort.
I might have gone a bit less "radical" on the front end tho'
L-twin, monoshock rear suspension, exposed zip ties, yup, it's a Ducati. Kinda rough but done on that budget it's cool. Nice to see a custom motorcycle that wasn't built with $1M worth of CNC and water jet tools.
I wish there were more Ducati customs, just something I'd like to see. I need to learn to weld.

Given the context, big thumb up for the builder doing it for the love of motorcycle. Makes me realize just how fortunate we are here. :)

Amen brother [thumbsup]
That's the rattiest POS I've ever seen a Ducati bastardized into. I LOVE IT! [thumbsup]
Beats the hell out of the bolt on badasses that seem to inflict themselves on monsters nearly as much as HDs.
Hats off to you rat bike builder guy!

Rear suspension? I see a hard tail, am I missing something? Or was that sarcasm because of the sprung seat? ???

Monoshock sprung seat ;)
like others said, if this is a guy built this bike with literally the amount of money that many of us spend on a termi slip ons with no ecu or air filter, you have to give him props. especially if he really does make something like $100 a month.
we have to remember at its core, motorcycle riding is not about the bike in and of itself, its about if you like riding that matters. everything else is secondary

Too true. Riding and working on your bike are at the heart of what we do. Whether that work is a scrappy groud up custom like this or just a routine oil change, it's what it's about.
Riding 2 miles from your garage to Starbucks only to sit there for 4 hours and ride back again...
not near as much heart in that as this cat has.
