Title: 696 swingarm info needed Post by: TAftonomos on February 14, 2010, 06:23:12 PM Trying to decide between using a 999 05+ swingarm, or a 696 swingarm on this track bike project thats stuck in my head. I also could go with a s*R arm, but I want something different.
I'm assuming the 696 arm will bolt up to a 2v motor, wheras the 999 one will require some work (bearings in case, bearings in arm). Anyway, could someone measure the length of a 696 arm from the pivot to the axle plates? Could you weigh it as well? Thanks! he is right about the shock though. it's offset to the left side about 50% between the center line and the outside, but i'll give you exact points later. I'm going to use a SBK frame and will have to add a mounting point for it anyway. [thumbsup]
