 Just been knocked of my Ducati and involved in a fight
ILess than 2 hours ago i was knocked off my ducati less than 300m from my home by a Thai man and Woman on a Honda wave who ran into me from behind , Luckily I was near,y at stop but still lost it and the bike fell on my left leg , Damage to me and the bike is minimal, broken clutch lever and gear lever some paint scratches and on me bruising and some cuts , but thes 2 Thai Arseholes then attempted to ride off , but blocked by traffic i tried to stop them ....then things went crazy the guy started doing MUai thai Kicks until I threw him over the wall onto the rail track and the woman tried hitting me in the face with a stick so i headbutted her with my helmet,,,,,, a lot off blood so i reckon her nose was busted ....Some other nice Thai people came to my aid and a cop arrived but the man and his woman managed to ride off .

The cop did not seem very interested he took my details and says thay will try and trace the man and woman , i went to the clinic to have my cuts dressed and now i am looking at my bike drinking tea and feeling very angry. trying to jai yen.

I was going to ride to Cambodia on the Bike tommorow damn!

All this sounds like a 80's Jackie Chan's kungfu movie.  Next thing we know, you are training the drunken fist style.  You will eventually track down the evil Thai motorist and set the stage for an epic fight to the death.

All joking aside, sorry to hear what happened...  Glad you and the bike are mostly intact.

sorry to hear about the incident but what does the fact that they are Thai have anything to do with it? the manner in which you use their ethnicity simply sounds racist to me.. and you hit a woman.. :-X tell me this thread

he's in Thailand. so reporting they are Thai is kinda correct. and they attacked him remember. oh and in southeast asia, i would think a woman is just as capable of killing you as the next guy. tons of movies show that  [laugh] and needless to say, cool job on kicking ass. sucks you and the bike got hurt.

very sad that this type of behavior is actually bragged about and then encouraged.

I don't see any bragging-I see a guy upset that his bike got dinged up, and the people who did it ran off after assaulting him.


I'm not sure why you don't think he should've defended himself? Two people attacked him, one apparently with some martial arts training, and the other with a weapon. If a situation screamed for self defense, I'd say that one did.


Jerry, sorry about your bike, hope you're not hurt, and that you can find the parts for your bike, and the idiots who hit you.

one more thing though.. it wasn't the self defense I had a problem with.. and hell i wasn't there so for all I know, the lady did indeed require the headbutt.. it's the fact that the post has a slightly racist connotation to it in the way asians/Thais are referred to that got me going. perhaps i'm being a little too sensitive though..

I got hit by a pissed off woman with a barbecue spatula. You know the kind with the two foot handle.... Chucked it at me from about 10 feet away. I've got the dent to prove it. I probably deserved it, though.

In all seriousness, two against one, man or woman, self defense takes priority over chivalry.

When my teacher gained "Master" status ( fourth dan in tae kwon do, second degree in judo, and first degree in hapkaido) he had to register himself as a lethal weapon.  If this man who attacked him had formal martial arts training, he could be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Same for the woman... she DID assault him with a weapon.  That law probably doesn't apply in Thailand, but what do I know...?

Allowing yourself to be hit in the face by a woman with a stick is well beyond chivalry.  Yeah, jerryz is not too happy about being attacked by the Thai man and woman.  That hardly makes him racist.  He also did refer to "some other nice people who came to my aid..."  Perhaps the post was not as PC as it could have been, but he just went through a very bad experience, cut him some slack.

Ive had the gear lever fixed and hope to sort clutch  lever tomorrow, the cops arrested the woman in a hospital with a broken nose she was high in YABBA ( methamphetamine ) they reckon they will have the guy soon ,looks like they did not want to stay around due to the drugs , though it might come back on me if the cops think there is money to be had ...we will know tommorow.

i am feeling full of aches and pain now going to have a massage and early night.

i am not a rascist , I have been married to a Thai for 14 years  , I just dont like scumbags of and nationality ,creed or colour and i am not happy hitting a woman but she could easily be capable of killing me, I was stabbed in the chest many years ago by an Ex english girlfriend ,who was by then married to another guy , she also stabbed him a few years later.she is now in a Looony Bin.

Must be a SE asian thing, i saw two scooters collide today in Dalat, guy 1 started going after guy 2. Well guy 2 just left a group of 10 or so friends from the side of the road and they all came after the guy 1, and he just ran from there. So the started kicking his bike.  Good times.
