Title: paint matching/contrast for Dark Post by: xcaptainxbloodx on February 18, 2010, 12:43:55 PM Im getting a thruxton fairing and im looking for ideas on paint. my bike is the "dark" pseudo matte black and I have red on my tank.
so im probably going to just do matte black but I was wondering what your opinions were, im rather broke and cant really afford a "proper" paint job. I guess matching is the only way to go but im also trying to think of something that would compliment the dark without standing out too much. I painted my SBK front fender with this and it's holding up well after the first season. I recommend some dark primer to, otherwise you need lots of black to get coverage. Scott |
