I recently replaced my clutch on my S4. I sat on the bike, put it in 6th gear, stepped hard on the rear brake and my lad heaved on the wrench. The nut came off and went back on with no problems. Holding the basket to remove the basket bolts, I used a steel ruler wedged into the basket slots and a bolt head on the case. Again no problems. Title: Re: Homebrew clutch tool? Again no problems. sounds great for you, but i want the tool. the clutch i'm putting on is close to a $1k. not to mention, my lad is 9 months old and won't be heaving on any wrenches (unless it's vomit) for a while. Post by: Howie on May 30, 2008, 03:56:47 PM If you go to a dealer or independent shop that works on Ducs I bet they have a few extra plates lying around. Welding is a nice way to make the tool, but nuts and bolts will work.

[beer] you could defintely go about with 3 bolts on the handle, but at the cost of buying drill bits that can eat through all that steel, you might as well throw a 24pack of budlight towards a local welder for 5 minutes of his time
