Good fit, I can feel the controls, dry in light rain so far. More to follow. Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: Michael Moore on February 20, 2010, 02:29:08 PM Wow, a rain glove that doesn't feel like you're operating the bike with pillows strapped to your hands? Almost too good to be true.
Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: mostrobelle on February 20, 2010, 04:15:51 PM But where's the fun in that?...half the challenge of winter riding is doing it in thick mittens and seeing if you come out alive.
Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: b. on February 21, 2010, 09:07:16 AM I have these gloves and used them for a full year in Seattle before moving. They kept my hands dry and decently warm through 30 degree temps, rain and hail. They've held up well nearly five years later. The leather's faded in areas but still in great shape, but they're not so waterproof anymore...not sure if there's a way to revive them.

Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: jimboecv on February 22, 2010, 07:51:32 AM $200 I think.
After a few days I like them but try on a pair before you buy on line or something. I tried on XL's and they were too small. The 2XL's are snug across the palms when I wear liners and that's OK, I think they'll get better. The fingers are a little too long, longer than I like but I'll take the trade off. I'm taking off on a few hundred mile ride in a few and I'll check back. Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: b. on February 22, 2010, 08:43:25 AM I think mine were around $160ish from DucSea. Dave R should be able to get you a quote.

Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: Kaveh on February 24, 2010, 07:20:48 AM I got the "high-end" a few years back, and so does Enzo I believe. I like them a lot, they also held up really well when I had me get-off a few years back at Thunderhill and also when I did Spidey's version of a wheelie. I picked them up at Motostrano for about 2 bills, but that was at least 5 years ago.

The best winter gloves I've ever had. No leaks, just a touch insolated so you can feel you controls. Warm enough with liners. Nit picks are the gauntlet's too small around so you have to finess your jacket into them. Without liners the fingers on the XXL's are a touch too long. BUT the trade offs are worth it. If they were summer gloves I wouldn't like them. For winter, however, they're way better than anything I've ever found that offers protection too. Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like. Post by: Drunken Monkey on March 09, 2010, 05:53:24 PM I was just realizing I need a good set of winter gloves...
... now that winter is winding down. Well, guess I'll pick up a pair for next year when the spring sales roll around. Title: Re: I think I found winter gloves I like.
