www.snotr.com/video/3068 (http://) How does he do this? [bow_down] Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: EvilSteve on February 25, 2010, 11:26:22 AM It's called skill, normally derived from lots and lots of practice. Either that or a deal with the devil but I'm leaning towards skill on this one. ;)

Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: Monster Dave on February 26, 2010, 12:27:59 PM ok - wow.
The first video is a pretty excellent and amazing example of skill. The second one just makes me feel bad for the bikes....they look like they are just being punished and abused. One from another officers motor rodeo where they had a follow-the-leader competition that was pretty hard core.
:o I wouldn't even walk on that trail. +1, I think I'd poop myself Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: yotogi on March 01, 2010, 11:42:35 AM I noticed the safety lines there for people to use when on the trail. I would be wanting to clip in myself.
Dedicated riding! Too dangerous for my wimpy blood. Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: DoubleEagle on March 31, 2010, 02:34:52 PM I think I could do the 1st one with a little practice on the course and my old S4Rs.

Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: the_Journeyman on July 03, 2010, 05:35:13 AM That first video reminds me of all the squid that "tried" to run from the BMW cops on Deals Gap when they had them over there.

I probably couldn't do that course even on a bigwheel... I have a new found respect for motorcycle cops.
Title: Re: Amazing Riding Post by: coarsegoldkid on July 05, 2010, 06:22:50 PM Ducatis can't do that course. A bike must have a lot of lock to lock steering. Not to mention the dry clutch will fry. BMWs have a dry clutch but not for newbies. They get a KawKZ1000 to flog. I tried the cones on my BMW RT and they are difficult but with practice you can do it. These LEOs at the rodeo are very good riders and they too have my respect. They practice everyday they suit up. Every U-turn, every chance they get cause it will save their life. The trick just to get you stared is not to lean the body, lean the bike.

Not all Ducatis have the limited steering range of Monsters. Not all Ducatis have dry clutches. My bike could probably do it. My bike's usual rider could definitely not do it. |
