Interesting read, but when their only real source quoted is the head of the pilot's union... ???  Sounds like France to me.

Much like Toyota, I don't expect Airbus to come out and say yeah under certain conditions our computers freak out. Not good for sales.

Can't image being onboard that plane for the last couple of minutes.          R.I.P.

I didn't read past the 1st page (too long to read now)...but the pitot tubes on Airbus jets icing over is fairly well known now. I remember either reading about it or seeing it on the news a few months ago. I thought Airbus was desiging a fix, like heating them or something.
