Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: kopfjäger on March 01, 2010, 06:57:38 PM Looks custom, but very hard to see in that pic.
Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: kopfjäger on March 01, 2010, 07:00:56 PM Possibly all fiberglass?
Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: hackers2r on March 01, 2010, 07:03:26 PM not sure why flickr downsized it...looks to be all carbon.

Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: kopfjäger on March 01, 2010, 07:10:20 PM It's definitely CF custom. Hopefully someone will know who paid big $ for it. [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: DarkStaR on March 02, 2010, 04:40:36 PM I remember that piece from the OTB a long time ago. If I remember correctly it was stupid expensive, and very few were made.
But, I forgot who made it... ??? I also seen it on the Italian club page back then. Do you have a link to where you found it...maybe I can dig up the name again from there. Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: DucatiTorrey on March 02, 2010, 04:53:22 PM sorry if this is a total thread jack, i love that seat BTW, go for it if you can
i sa this buell for sale, the seat reminds me of that one, anyways, this seat is rad on both bikes, the cafe style is killer. Totally makes this Buell look decent. anyways, sorry for the total jack. It's the beers fault [drink] (https://lh5.ggpht.com/_sVC7JcsTsUg/R_ltItHJw9I/AAAAAAAADHg/5KYJAVql8bY/s800/DSC02550.JPG) Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: junior varsity on March 02, 2010, 05:32:05 PM So after extensive searching, I think I have found something that is along the lines of what I am looking for. That is bad ass. Not to much of a fan of the carbon intakes on the frame (I understand the vertical cylinder cooling intake, but the more forward 'ram air' intake, or whatever it is ain't my cup of tea). In other news, there is no need to rain on this thread's parade with a picture of a buell. Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: He Man on March 02, 2010, 07:33:10 PM all you need is a cooler looking tank. and it would be pretty cool "sport bike"
Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: Mojo S2R on March 05, 2010, 07:45:30 PM Apparently it is (was?) made by Carbon Dream. There's a guy selling one on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-Monster-M750-Carbon-Dream-Solo-Seat_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem414d7c9ab6QQitemZ280472885942QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-Monster-M750-Carbon-Dream-Solo-Seat_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem414d7c9ab6QQitemZ280472885942QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories)
Good luck! Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: jeff137 on March 06, 2010, 04:59:54 AM Would that ebay seat fit a '07 S4R testa? I think it looks pretty sweet, but not sure if it would fit my bike.?.
Title: Re: Seat Help Post by: Mojo S2R on March 06, 2010, 05:18:22 AM I had thought about bidding for myself too but don't know if it would be compatible with my bike either. Decided that I'd pass anyway as I already had an alternate idea.

I was actually going to sell the original, just wanted an idea of how to make my own, I'm not going for carbon on my bike. Please let me know if anyone has word on this piece. Thanks.
