So after extensive searching, I think I have found something that is along the lines of what I am looking for.

Looks custom, but very hard to see in that pic.

Possibly all fiberglass?

not sure why flickr downsized it...looks to be all carbon.

Fixed the size.  I need one of these on my bike in a bad way.  someone help!!!

It's definitely  CF custom. Hopefully someone will know who paid big $ for it.  [thumbsup]

I remember that piece from the OTB a long time ago.  If I remember correctly it was stupid expensive, and very few were made.

But, I forgot who made it...  ???

I also seen it on the Italian club page back then.

Do you have a link to where you found it...maybe I can dig up the name again from there.

i sa this buell for sale, the seat reminds me of that one, anyways, this seat is rad on both bikes, the cafe style is killer. Totally makes this Buell look decent. anyways, sorry for the total jack. It's the beers fault [drink]

That is bad ass. Not to much of a fan of the carbon intakes on the frame (I understand the vertical cylinder cooling intake, but the more forward 'ram air' intake, or whatever it is ain't my cup of tea).

In other news, there is no need to rain on this thread's parade with a picture of a buell.

all you need is a cooler looking tank. and it would be pretty cool "sport bike"

Would that ebay seat fit a '07 S4R testa?  I think it looks pretty sweet, but not sure if it would fit my bike.?.

I had thought about bidding for myself too but don't know if it would be compatible with my bike either.  Decided that I'd pass anyway as I already had an alternate idea.

Does it mean I'm getting old when the first thing I thought was "Wow, that looks really uncomfortable"?  [laugh]

I totally forgot to set up my auction sniper for this seat.  My bid WOULD HAVE BEEN was 6 bills and some funny change, and I'm pissed I didn't win it.  Planned to get with hackers and make them!
