I watched the most recent auction, zero bids, they will be willing to deal soon. I'm not interested in rebuilding it, but using the motor, swingarm and wheels for a project and selling the rest of the parts. I sent my dad the pic and he says "yeah, most definitely my bike." actually I found another (http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/1893/img0264c.jpg) (http://img708.imageshack.us/i/img0264c.jpg/) crazy. what were the circumstances of the crash? injuries? email from my dad after the accident: Quote First, I'm fine, a little bruised and stiff, but nothing that won't go away shortly. The bad new - after 14 years of daily motorcycling, yesterday I had my first crash. I was headed to work on University Ave going thru Hillcrest when a car going the opposite direction turned left in front of me. Fortunately in that neighborhood I wasn't going too fast but I did do a face-plant on their right-hand door. Like Andy, I got an ambulance ride to the local hospital, poked for an IV, CT scanned, hand X-rayed because my right pinkie hurt worse than anything else, felt up thoroughly, and then sent home with instructions to "take ibuprofen for pain." Ibuprofen is of course a wonderful thing and today I have some spectacular bruises and I'm stiff in several places but I'm better than yesterday, so I'm heading off to work in a little while. Legally, to the extent it matters, the light was green for the intersection, so I had the right of way and the other driver failed to yield, as I see it. Certainly I was operating in a safe and same manner, although I have no idea what witnesses are going to say. Mom was upset, naturally, but not hysterical, and we're all calmed down now. Unfortunately, the Duc is probably history. I didn't get a god look at it yet, but I know there were pieces all over the street, and I think the front end damage will surely be fatal. Too bad, as I had absolutely no desire to replace that one... we'll see what's next. That's the news from here, hope you all are having less excitement, Pops He got a good settlement out of it and enough cash to buy a ST3s. He wasn't permanantly damaged, but he did get a good bruise from denting the tank with his junk on the way over the bars. Apparently there was no skid mark (or not much of one) so he really had no time at all to react. He's got some blank spots in time immediately before and immediately after the impact, but otherwise he was up and around in a day or so. Wreck was Oct of 2008.
