Pardon moi Francais. it might .. had i not already done that. come one man - im not going to ask that question here until i exhaust all other resources. maybe i should have phrased my question like this "Does anyone on this board know of any sources of ASV levers at great prices, that I can not find by a simple google search?" The ASV levers are really cool; I wonder why more people aren't using them. Title: Re: asv lever Post by: JEFF_H on March 09, 2010, 01:49:32 PM Bellissimoto.com and motowheels.com both list them.
might want to consider the new ASV F3 levers...they are cheaper. pm me if you would like my personal opinion on ASV ;) Title: Re: asv lever Post by: deepak8612 on March 09, 2010, 01:52:22 PM Bellissimoto.com and motowheels.com both list them. might want to consider the new ASV F3 levers...they are cheaper. pm me if you would like my personal opinion on ASV ;) do tell.... had some interesting experiences with ASVs? Possibly whichever was the cheapest.
Title: Re: asv lever Post by: Mr.Saturn on March 12, 2010, 11:37:16 PM CycleGear had some on the shelf locally that I bought. They matched MotoMummy's price (which is probably the lowest I've seen) by just having me show them the web page on my phone. CycleGear hasn't been the cheapest in terms of shelf prices, but at least with the one around here their price match and satisfaction guarantees have made me a return customer.
Aside from a few install issues, I like the levers and would definitely recommend them. Be very careful not to lose the black plastic brake light switch plug when you take the old levers off. The clutch side lever is limited to only being as close as the clutch switch will allow. Bending the switch outward gives you a little wiggle room here also. Then again if you don't mind having to find neutral if you stall your bike, you can just ignore the clutch switch. The lever's haven't really been tested too much in terms of how they stand up to damage, but I did have one really slow tip over where the bar end got dinged up a bit. It looked like it was resting on the lever tip also but didn't seem to even scratch the finish once I got it off the ground and looked it over. [evil] The ASV levers are really cool; I wonder why more people aren't using them. i use ASV shorties and i love them so much. the levers are thick and feel much sturdier than the reeeeally crappy stock ones. i wasnt sure about spending the money at the time (225) but now its probably my favorite mod. very adjustable, look incredible and feel really great on the fingers. nice wide area to grip. also as for tipovers, asv includes a 5 year warrantee on bent levers. not lifetime, but better than nothing thats my 2 cents oh and that link for a pair for 150 is an amazing price. No brainer, i think they are much nicer than pazzos and CRGs |
