Title: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: baller30 on March 05, 2010, 11:17:49 AM Yea so when i bought my monster about a month ago, it had a GPR slip on already on it. I really know nothing about these and if there any good, it does sound pretty good though. Does anyone know anything about these and if there any good, or just cheap garbage. I know its not an arrow or termignoni but if anyone has any input on these i would appreciate it.
Thanks Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: stopintime on March 05, 2010, 01:02:32 PM This is what a search for "GPR" came up with (some threads are not about GPR exhaust)

Oh well, the point is that Baller can type "GPR" and get quite a few threads about GPR [thumbsup] Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: baller30 on March 05, 2010, 02:35:06 PM I did a search and i found very little on their exhausts. Anyone else have any info on them?
Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: junior varsity on March 05, 2010, 03:58:35 PM OnCycles used to carry them. I always thought they looked really good. Made some really sweet different setups.

A search turned up about 10 threads discussing GPR exhaust. [laugh] Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? I suspect you searched while being "inside" accessories & mods. Search when you are on the homepage - that's when you get the hits we've been seeing [thumbsup] Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Or the full three pages a "homepage" search provides? Anyhow - you don't count - you're spessscial ;D Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: M900 on March 06, 2010, 11:14:37 AM I have high-carry GPR pipes on my Monster -- it's a 96 M900. Popped like hell before the rejet, but runs smooth since Rorie at BMW-Ducati in Charlotte, NC rejeted my carbs. I can't say that there has been a significant performance bump, but it sounds loud as hell compared to stock. My only issue withit is that with a tail chop, the bike looked like a wheelbarrow, so I chopped the can (then did teh rejet).
I can't access Photobucket right now, but when I get home, I'll snap a pic and post it. Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? All three pages.Anyhow - you don't count - you're spessscial ;D ...and I'm very special. :-* Title: Re: anyone familiar with GPR exhaust? Post by: Schwanger on March 06, 2010, 02:39:26 PM I put the stainless high mounts on my 2001 900Sie and I love them. They did require a couple modifications in order to fit just right. If you're running high mounts like I am and you have a tailchop the cans look too long. Cut 5 inches off and they will look much better...and sound a little meaner.
