Title: Great Sunday ride
Post by: Nickati on March 07, 2010, 12:27:09 AM
Kaz and I left home this morning and headed up the old road towards Kulnura, we rode down Bumble Hill rd (which should be called bumpy hill road ) and back along the freeway to the Somersby Interchange.
Then up to the Corrugated Cafe at Peats ridge for lunch.

We went to leave and there is this really friendly rider coming in where we are going out waving at us........
The I twigged it's Betty and Jukie is down the road a bit.
A quick chat and we are off, back towards the old road.
A great ride down the old road with a blast through some of the twisty bits through to the Pie in the Sky for a drink

Thanks Kaz, Betty & Jukie for the top ride and great company.  [bow_down]

Some one needs to ask Jukie about her sunburn...... [bacon].................. It's in a strange place that I hope not not EVER see again   :-X :-X :-X :-X

Jukie made lots of motorists happy today. We should appreciate Jukie's kind and sharing spirit.

We headed off early this morning for a ride with the NDDOC mob ... it was actually the first chance we have had to ride with them since Jukie's 'incident' ... and boy what a turn. Numbers were up from the last ride we did with them so there was five this time ... four of them Monsters [clap] (ours + a 900 and a new 1100) complimented by an 860GT.

We met them at Morisset ... took a mazey run through the Hunter (I never really know where we go) stopping briefly at Broke then Wollombi. Then on the trip home met up with Signora and Nicati. Gone for about 13 hours all up.

Thanks you two for a great afternoon ... and dinner ... your awesome hostingliness is muchly appreciated. Hope I didn't bore you too much.

Sorry about the floor (and thanks for the pants).

Hey cool, what time were you guys up there.
I went out with Dannog and a few of his mates this morning.
But it was still dark so pretty early.
Up and down the Old Road a few times, one run in the early fog!
Stopped at Warriors and saw Hambo, sat and chatted a bit more then went up and back again.

Home by about 10:30 so pretty early but a great day and fabulous to have the Monster back.

Hope you're getting on better with that new bike Nickati and that you might be using a few more gears.

Thanks Matty,
Nick is doing really awesome. He loves his new baby.
Good to hear that you are back on the road enjoying your bike again.
Cheers,
Kaz. [thumbsup]
