Could it just be water from the fuel that sat over the winter? I took the gas tank off and drained the fuel and had it in a gas can. Put the fuel back on. Could i of mixed up the lines? Everything starts fine, just had to recharge the battery but starts fine and seems to run fine. Could it be something different? Its an 06 S2R 1000. I did put the stock exhaust back on that I bought from someone on here.
A certain amount of condensation in the exhaust is normal.
How much water are you talking about?
Drop every few seconds, have only run it for a few minutes cause I was not sure what it was.

I wouldn't worry about it.
It's an air cooled bike and it's running.
By-product of combustion.
Ok, just wanted to make sure. I figured it was. There is not coolant that can be mixed so I guess it just needs to work itself out.
I believe this is common, cuz mine does the same when cold or cool. after she has been running for a couple minutes, it goes away. When I sniff it, there is no gas odor.
Gasoline + Oxygen -> carbon dioxide and water ( C8H18 + 12.5 O2 --> 8 CO2 + 9 H2O )
Haha, I almost failed chemistry, 1 and 2, ahah.

can you modify it for 10% ethanol? [evil]
Funny you mention that, complete burning of ethanol also produces water and carbon dioxide!
C2H5OH + 3 O2 â†' 2 CO2 + 3 H2O
And now you got me thinking, I haven't started my old Alfa in years, I may need to rejet it for the new bad gas. Impossible to find E0 where I live. I guess that PC maps for E0 gas are also toast. [bang]
