Last spring all i could think about was having my own motorcycle, sitting in my garage. Yesterday i rode for the first time since November (northeast), and starting thinking about how i might *need* another bike.
I think i might have a problem developing...
3 if you count my M900, the wife's FZ6 and my DR125.

boobies

See signature ;D
I voted 1 for each day because I'm currently looking for a 1098 or 1198.
Do piles of bikes that *should* have the right number of parts count as bikes, or is it only complete and running bikes?

[laugh] If they roll, they count!
I only have my Monster, but would someday love a little cafe project or bobber.

I operate swampduc's home for wayward money pits ;)
I have my HD Nightster, my '95 M900 and my '99 M750CR (in pieces/parts but I counted it anyways...)
1.5 right now
1999 750 Dark
2004 S4r which is in pieces and technically won't be an S4r when done.

I think technically the rule is if it is reasonably within your power to get the bike to run with parts in your possesion it counts... [laugh]

Ten running. Don't ask about the ones that don't. ;D I think a guy needs as many bikes as his girlfriend/wife has shoes! [thumbsup] That's my story and I'm sticking to it. [laugh]
Just one right now. Hopefully another within a year.
Boobies needs to be added to this poll or it won't be official
In my garage or actually mine? 10 or 5, depending.
Ducati m1000SS
Yamaha r6 trackbike
Ninja 250 racebike
Ninja 250, pile of former racebike
Yamaha Vino 125
Ducati Streetfighter
Ducati Monster s4r
Husky 510
GSXR 750 racebike
Honda 250 dirtbike
And I could probably assemble at least one more Ninja 250 trackbike out of parts if I needed to.

do you like the nightster?
Currently Ducless, just my VRSCR (favorite bike to date) and my hardtail.
Just my 99 zx6r and a crf230L. I'm adding a Duc once I graduate in the fall.
uno!
but i voted for chuck norris because he can set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. At night.
One.
two that run..
and now only two that don't...woo hoo.
S4r, KTM 690 SM ,Vespa PX 150.

did you get one of the holdover PX150s??
i wanted one, but they were sold out by the time i got off my ass
S4Rs
KTM SMR 450
KTM 200EXC
Honda 400F SS
More to come.........
2009 monster 696
2007 monster s4rs
2006 triumph speed triple
1971 triumph trophy tr6c (rat bike)
1969 triumph t120r bonneville
1967 vintage AEE hardtail/ girder triumph t120r chopper (project)
I would love to have a garage, and the income to own more than one bike.
also, I voted for chuck norris because he reads the internet and I don't want to die.
Just one, but one of my Goals in Life is to have a Running and Driving Vehicle for every day. I stipulate running and driving because i'm halfway there with derelict hulks that might pass for cars...
Also, i see myself with three bikes.
Maybe four
Five...
5 as of last week ... the latest / greatest being the BMW S1000.
just 3
2 that run, one that is still not quite ready to turn over
The wife and I have eight that are together and rolling, but one of them (my Harley) has been sitting with a bad ignition module because I haven't felt like putting the money into it. I keept debating on putting it into a more permanent form of retirement, and am still undecided (it has 105,000 miles and is getting to the point I may have to start sinking some money into it). I've been itching really, really badly for another bike, but we are trying to hold off for another year or two and buy two new ones.
The M900 is the one with the lowest mileage at 14k, then the 748 at 20k, and then they keep climbing to 105k with only one other having less than 30k (at 25k). My wife's main bike is a 2000 R1 and it went from 3900 miles to 43,000 miles in three years, so I think that one will need some work or a replacement in the next year or two......and the R1 will be pushed into a corner until I can build my "Mmuseum of Old and Worn Out Bikes" or maybe use them as props in a motorcycle-related restaurant. :D
2005 Ducati Monster 620D 'Zerafina'
1984 Honda Nighthawk CB700S that doesn't run much
1981 Honda GL500 P.O.S. that needs to get the heck out of my tiny shop (doesn't and won't run), thinking of dropping it at the local cycle salvage yard just to get rid of it. If you want it, come and get it, any day, any time.
So I voted for two b/c the GL doesn't count in my mind, it is just a waste of space, I hate it and want it gone. (Okay so hate is a bit strong, but it is in my way).
The Doc
I have 3 currently. 03 M620 I am selling; 07 S2R1K; and my wife's 50cc Chinese-made generic scooter with a 72cc big bore kit (that count as a bike, right?)
Two...but eyeing a third
2007 White S4Rs 6k- La Perla
1989 Red H. Hawk 15k - Zoom Zoom
2.5 here. 2 Ducs and one Bobber Build.

Including the one I bought about two hours ago, 1.5. I thought I would have to change my vote but I voted for Chuck Norris
one

I ended up "Chuck Norris" only because none of the other answers really fit. Yes I've only got one bike. Faithful to her.. sure.. but If I had my way there would be 1 track bike, 1 road bike, 1 D16RR, and something vintage for "special occasions" Potential candidates include, but are not limited to: Triumph Speed triple, West Coast Chopper CFL Rigid, 750 Supersport Ducati, 999R, 749R, 848 "R", 70's era Bonneville or BSA or Norton, New Norton, did I mention D16RR?
