If I had 90k my check would be in the mail.
60 mph at 800 feet would be awesome!
Ok, so if the maximum hight is 8k feet, and I live at near 8k feet altitude does that mean it won't work for me?
Neato. [thumbsup]
(Though I dispute it being labeled "affordable." :P )
OK, well I still like the 1970s-80's version better:

You know the really dangerous ones!!!

Yes.
For you it is an expensive way to roll down hills.
;D

man, that sucks, I totally had $90,000 just for a jetpack, but it needs a operational celling of at least 15k feet. ;D
actually, I would probably wreck that thing into some power lines. [laugh]
For 90k you could buy a small airplane.
And for the price of an 1198, you could buy a small car. [popcorn]

But landing a small airplane in my office parking lot would be problematic.
I saw a demo this thing at Oshkosh 2008, the inventor's 16 year old son was flying it.
It looks like it works alot better now.

It also has a ballistic chute for when the engine quits.
That thing has to get way smaller and quieter before any of us can seriously use it for superhero duty.
I would seriously fly that thing to work. [bacon]

I was told there'd be no math.

So would I. Maybe they'd let me park it in the motorcycle only spots. ;D

So true! I retract that comment!
I am disappointed. It doesn't look anywhere near dangerous enough.
