But I still want a TESI.
So is this basically a DB6 redone with carbon fiber frame, swingarm and forks? The article list a weight of 158kg which is 348 lbs. I wonder if that is wet or dry weight? What is the price?
Carbon fiber frame

Carbon fiber fork tubes or are these just carbon fiber fork covers?

Looks sort of MV Agusta Brutale-ish in this pic

Given that the DB6R is @ 375 dry, I would guess that is dry.
Price? If you have to ask...

i'd push a nun in front of a bus just for the normal one
In that last pic it looks like too much going on. Nothing flows. Too busy. Pass.
The carbon fiber fork tubes should be here already for the rest of us. The technology is definitely already there.

if theyre giving these bikes out, they dont. [evil]
The fork tubes are wrapped in CF. I bet the CF frame and swinger have metal skeletons as well. Oh, and why would they not use CF wheels? [roll]
If your going to do it...don't do it half-assed!

The fork tubes are wraped in CF according to the article and the kickstand appears to have some sort of lame CF piece tacked on to it. However, the frame and swinger are all CF. The frame technology is the same as used on the Bimota DB7 Ononero detailed in the April issue of Cycle World.
weren't we railing on another company for carbon fiber coating metal?

That is bad ass, but I bet it causes cancer
Do you think they should have picked a better demonstration piece than an electric blue jungleflage soap dish?
