My girlfriend and I are visiting from Boston on my Stepdad's K1200GT and need to put a new front tire on it tomorrow for the journey to pismo and san diego. Are there any local shops to recommend? Standard 120/70/17, nothing terribly exotic. Desmotosport on 9th between Howard and Folsom is the local Duc wrench (they're AWESOME) and Scott (the owner) knows BMWs. That said, they're not the cheapest place in SF to get a tire.
