Title: Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant vs fogging engine
Post by: RC Fan on March 19, 2010, 11:59:05 AM
Is using a product like Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant a viable alternative to fogging the engine prior to winter storage, or should the cylinders still be fogged with either fogging spray or engine oil?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The idea of the fog is you are misting the entire combustion chamber.  Squirting oil in is not as effective as fogging.

you need to fog lucas is designed to burn with the fuel and will not choke an engine to the point where everything is coated and combustion is ceased.

I like Lucas as a fuel additive though
