Title: Cam belt lock on a 4v
Post by: The Architect on March 19, 2010, 04:41:25 PM
Anyone use one of these tools when replacing 4v timing belts?

Wondering if it's worth it.

I know.  It won't be the first time.  Or the last.

That one vertical cam is a pregnant dog.  (for me)

Get the tool for the pulley nuts, then you can do that vertical intake cam *and* remove pulleys.

I picked up the tool and used it.

It worked just fine.  I probably could have done it without it but I just wasn't comfortable enough.
