Title: Fast Idle Cable S4r
Post by: minnesotamonster on March 24, 2010, 03:11:27 PM
The cable for my fast idle broke tonight. I went to push the lever down and it got really loose all of a sudden, and when I went to check it, it was all frayed at the end  [roll] and the spring had came off and was on the ground. Not sure how it is supposed to work with the FI bikes, only used to the choke cable on my carbie. How does this system work, and where can I find a new cable?

Thanks

Jake

Funny story:
I just received my left handle switch from CA Cycleworks to control the headlight seperately. NEver even thought about the fast idle lever.
So all I need is the piece for the right which after a quick ebay search turned up nothing tonight.

Cool.  It cleans up the look, decreases the number of cables by one and it works too!

Be patient, when I was looking there were more than a few.
