Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?
I installed passenger pegs kit for my Rizoma rearsets. I do not have enough space when I connect the rod. It's rubbing the bracket that holds the control. I have tried placing the set in several different spots, placing spacers on the bolts that connect the shifter rod, shorting and extending the length of the rod all of which has not worked. I thought to get a longer bolt with spacers, but thought that might not be a good idea with the loss in strength (I don't want to snap it on a hard shift).
Problem solved. I had to reroute the shifter bar and reverse the linkage. I've wanted to a GP shifter for a while anyhow. Took it for a ride and it works great, but it's going to take some getting use to...
