Title: Formula One - Australian GP ( Spoilers )
Post by: Jester on March 28, 2010, 05:18:16 PM
I didn't see a thread on the race this weekend, but it was a damn good one to watch.  Lots of overtaking, crashes, wet/dry strategy.  Loved it.   [thumbsup]  Button took his slicks before the field and turned it into a nice victory... and Hamilton is just a wild man, that is all.  Too bad for Schumi getting caught up in the first turn crash.  He made a nice recovery for 10th after heading to the back of the field and taking 3 stops.  When is the luck going to go Vettel's way?  Poor guy.

+1. There was some good passing and it was nice to see the overall aggression.

I can see how no refuelling can put a team at a disadvantage in certain situations.  Look what happened to Shuey.  Lap 2 nose change and now you can't top off the tank and change the fuel strategy to get some position back.

FAIL.

Great race tho...     [thumbsup]

Much better racing this time. Both Alonso and Hamilton having to come back through the field. Button making the call to go out on slicks (which I thought at the time, "they should have done that with Hamilton instead", and then when Jenson was sliding all over the place I thought, "Oh that was a stupid call, he's going to bin it for sure" and then he wins!!

Great drama, great strategy, and great racing.  [thumbsup]
