And the answer is:
No dipshit you panicked, over corrected your steering and slammed on your brakes the moment you got the slightest bit sideways. Nice driving. Try not pointing toward the ditch next time.

That was great. This was even better than the kid who stuffed his Mustang into a wall doing a burnout at my old appartment complex.
That roof didn't hold up too well for a simple roll over.
Technically, he didn't 'fail' the burnout...there was smoke. I think it should be called "Ok Burnout, Massive Driver Skill Fail"
I am guess the abs brakes were confused or something too with the long power brake and either locked the front or rear or something, it seemed a bit wanky at the end.
mitt
that's enough unnecessary-truck humour to last me the whole rest of the week
[laugh]
Further proof that just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Although money can buy you an expensive Viper engine'd truck.. Driving skills are not included in the sticker price!
i like the sound "that is not good!! dude you ok?" after the guy just rolls the car.. [clap] [clap]
See what happens when a sister kisser divides by zero?

I typically don't try burnouts in my FWD ES300.
Why would one not stop about a 1/2 second after they feel the wheels aren't spinning?!
Instead..Vette-man & Dodgeboy keep revvin'. WTH?! ?? !! ???
I don't think I'll ever get tired of that Z06 video [laugh]

It was a neon srt4 i think
I thought a burnout was what that Ram tried to do?
What's with the holding of the brakes?
I know you do that on a motobike, but in a car.....
I thought you just mashed down the gas and if you have the power......the wheels spin?
These vids have brightened my day.

I think they are trying to do a brake stand. Drag cars do this to heat up the tires but they usually have a line lock that only engages the front brakes. I am guessing that these guys have automatics so dumping the clutch isn't an option. But if you are holding the brake down too hard, the back wheels don't turn.

Burnouts in a manual transmission car are difficult, but do-able. (AMHIK ;)) The key is to get the rear wheels spinning using medium brake pedal pressure as you fully release the clutch and feed the gas pedal. Once your tires are burning, you can add pressure to the brake pedal again to hold the car from moving forward. Yes, this takes "extensive" practice and automatic transmissions are much easier.
The guy in the Corvette Z06 burned out his clutch attempting his burnout - that's the nature of his video (and the source of the smoke [laugh]). He's pushing all 3 pedals, though he clearly held the brake a little too hard and his friends either didn't notice (or didn't care?) that his wheels weren't spinning. Rookies. [coffee]
The guy in the Ram has a 6-speed manual transmission, too. He dumped the clutch (maybe even in second gear to get more smoke/wheel speed), probably was NOT holding the brake, and he apparently got a little too much wheelspin and gathered too much speed. That's a damn funny video. [laugh]
I love how the guy in the Neon SRT4 threw a slug right into the hood - see how that thing spiked up? Classic. [laugh] [laugh]
