Why are my nose hairs turning gray?
Maybe because you are ancient [thumbsup]
Yep. Wait until new hair starts growing in previously barren areas....
you stopped using Grecian Formula??....
is this a trick question?
Aging process I suppose....
soon you may be asking why your eyebrows look like two dead squirrels stapled to your forehead
or why your ears have suddenly hit puberty
or why those new tufts on your shoulders go up like hackles when you get angry ;D

Eventually your hair will start to migrate from your head down to your ass. And along the way it will plant zits.

scientifically speaking....why does hair turn gray in the 1st place?

At some point in your life the melanocytes that give your hair color eventually say "screw it. I'm done." The hair follicle, however, keeps on chugging along.
Sounds like the ones in your nose just gave up before the ones on your head.

having teenage children causes it
My father blames the Navy.... and his children.
a better question is why do you have visible hair growing out of your nose? ???

impeccable logic !!!
you would also be impervious to the clingy sickly stench of gangrene that sticks in your nostrils all day when you visit the Penn Station Men's Room during the "homeless" roll-in for their morning freshen-up

Once upon a time I the gov't offended the hair on top of my head. It went on strike; 20 years of talks have been unsuccessful at encouraging a return to work. I hesitate to offend any other hair nations residing on my body lest they all band together and collectively tell me adios!
I once looked in the mirror and noticed a few inch long hair growing out of my earlobe. Wonder how long I had that and if anyone noticed.
