Title: Footpeg Spring...HELP! Post by: Areafift1 on April 03, 2010, 06:11:51 AM OK, I'm trying to install some new footpegs for my Monster 695 and for the life of me I cannot get them on. The spring, when under tension, will not align with the pin that holds the footpeg to the frame of the bike. There has to be a trick in dealing with this spring. Any ideas?

There should be a small hole in the rearset that one end of the spring fits into. If this doesn't help, maybe a pic would shed some light. Howard Title: Re: Footpeg Spring...HELP! Post by: Bones on April 03, 2010, 02:47:12 PM take a screwdriver and stick it in the far hole to keep alignment. then start to work the pin in from the other side. this way you aren't totally fighting the sprinng. but yeah, make sure the spring isn't backwards
