Does anybody know what kind of seat cowl this is, something about it doesn't look stock. Maybe a custom one

Looks like the stock seat cowl with a custom seat which makes it sit a bit higher than normal, and requiring the grab rails to be shaved off...

Looks totally stock to me. Funny photo angle obscures the seat perhaps.

I say this one because of the paint job (number plates for racing) on it. Of course, could just be someone with number plates on their Monster.

stock. its just not fitted in the stock position.its sitting high at the front/

The later cowls on an early seat will be raised at the front.
