That's cool. Yeah. But, it'll be SOOOO underpowered. I won't swap the engine. But, plan on pods and an exhaust to get a bit of an increase. Otherwise, I want her to be as stock as possible. She's an 03 M400 Dark (matte silver) with carbs and dual front disks. I'll just have to swap with US Gauges (I think). She wont' be much on the freeway. Mainly she'll be the commute bike. Lots of people always seem interested in 400cc Ducatis - maybe someone will make you an offer? Or is it not legal to sell it here in the states?

Funny, I worked the opposite pain.... sourced/bought my S4R from a dealer in Illinois while living in Germany; had an importer bring it over all so I could avoid the hassle of trying to import a grey market S4R into the states. Not the cheapest way to ride, but wasn't hassled when I moved back to the states. The emission system is the same one they import for US bikes. I'll have to leave it stock to Reg it. But, once I have a title and registration, I can pretty much do what I want with it.
