Today I had the CF Termis installed on my 696.  What a difference!  Those things should come stock with the bike.  The exhaust note is amazing, and the bike's performance is incredible.  It's a completely new motorcycle.  I still can't wipe the grin off of my face.  The only downside is that I'm going to have to start wearing earplugs when I ride because the pipes are so incredibly loud (it's a good thing).

put the db killers in them and modify them before you do by driklling more holes in them to get a great note but not too loud.

+1 you will scare the shit out of people, engine breaking as well, though, you shouldn't get enough speed in a parking garage to engine break.... riiiiiight.

Congrats! Good mod. [thumbsup] Personally I think you should wear ear plugs all the time when riding. I cheat and skip them in town on short rides/errands but on any other ride I'm using the cheap (but efffective) foam plugs. I would have a hell of a lot more hearing had I started that 30+ years ago.

I dont wear Ear plugs because i love to hear my termis in my sleep after a long day of riding. I think the Tinnitus is getting worst though.

I'm debating wether or not I want to keep the Termi stickers on the pipes or if I want the straight carbon fiber.

I say go with the sticker... it helps break up the monotony of those pipes.

My Ducatistore installed this weekend also termi's on my black 696+. The shopman laughed pretty hard when i started my duc the first time with those exhausts. I asked why, he said that he saw a big smile on my face. Btw the smile is still on my face :)
